TALLULAH RENDALL.

TALLULAH RENDALL

In concert, July 2014

London

Last July I had the pleasure of accompanying my old 'digital' best friends, Cris Polizzi from fashionnotesbycris.blogspot.co.uk and Stephen Mahoney the Fashion/Social Editor of theblitzclub.com, "my old mukkers!" as Stephen would put it, to a very intimate concert held at The Barracuda Club and Casino on Baker Street.

Tallulah Rendall, visiting from her base in Berlin, delighted a very select audience with a rendition of the songs that comprise her latest album: "The Banshee and The Moon". This proved to be an incredibly enjoyable evening. She gave a wonderful performance which touched and entertained us in equal measures.

As if this wasn't enough she brought along her brothers who proved to also be incredibly talented. Nicholas Rendall will customise any item with his blackpenart.net creating an artwork out of your most prized possesion, while Max Rendall a.k.a "The Chelsea Joker" convinces us that Houdini is still amongst us.

Also visiting from Berlin, classical musician  Deltcho Deltchev, enjoying Max's sleight of hand.

Tallulah with her mother Liz Brewer.

Tallulah's songs covered a wide emotional range.

SALLY FARMILOE

SALLY FARMILOE

R. I. P.

2014

I had the pleasure of taking a picture of Sally only a few months before her demise at an event in Knightsbridge. She was gracious and always committed to image and glamour in a manner that honoured and reflected her position as a film and television star.

Sally, Russian fashion designer Rohmir and the always elegant and glamorous Liz Brewer sat together like 'The Three Graces' and were the focus of all eyes at the reception.

DANIEL BUREN / TUMI 'LINCOLN' ENVELOPE AT BALTIC ART.

DANIEL BUREN

BALTIC, GATESHEAD

(TUMI 'LINCOLN' DOCUMENT ENVELOPE)

For my visit to the Baltic Art Gallery in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, I took all my relevant documents and also Ipad in my TUMI 'Lincoln' Envelope Document Holder. Which forms part of the 'Santa Monica" collection.

The envelope proved really handy and elegant. Many compliments to TUMI and congratulations, once again, to George Esquivel TUMI's Creative Director for such great products.

As always the trip to the BALTIC was enjoyable and interesting. The gallery always presents impressive, large scale installations destined to be crowd pleasers and reflecting the pride Gateshead and Tyne & Wear as a whole, feel for this space.

Daniel Buren created a light manipulation installation which in a simple manner creates divisions of coloured lights throughout the space.

On entering the main space, we were presented with a group of large scale mirrors which reflected the coloured films placed on the windows of the space. This transformed suddenly when sun rays came directly through the windows.
